Connect to Assistance Programs

If your older vehicle has become your newest headache, contact us, and we’ll help you repair it for less or retire it for more.

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) requires most vehicles to undergo a smog check inspection every two years (biennially). BAR assistance programs are available for eligible vehicle owners who recently failed a biennial smog check.

If your vehicle is not required by the DMV to undergo a smog check but is smoking or has other emissions-related problems, Air District assistance programs may be the best option for you.

Check out the Program Eligibility page and find out what program is the best fit for you.
